WASA Truck Crash in House

A nine year old girl was nearly crushed to death, after a WASA truck crashed into her home in Maracas St. Joseph. The truck bulldozed into the girl's bedroom after the driver lost control of the vehicle while reversing down a hill, around 7 o'clock last night. One of the family's vehicles was damaged when the truck flipped and landed on its back. The girl was able to act fast and saved herself by hiding under a desk, narrowly escaping injury.

She had great reflexes and was very smart to react the way she did! The family should sue big time. I am so fed up of hearing about these truck driving accidents! What if she had died? Even though she escaped injuries that is a very traumatic experience for a child and now the family has losses to cover for physical damages to their property and vehicle as well. I hope investigations are ongoing and they find out what the cause is whether the truck had mechanical issues, there was a road issue, or a tired or intoxicated driver etc.

I find these truck men always getting in accidents.

God was with that girl yes.. This incident should be looked into thoroughly and that wasa driver should count his blessings he not on charge for manslaughter . I hope this serves as an eye opener that you can be killed by others innocently in your own home from vehicular accidents.
We need to exercise more caution especially on hills and other dangerous landscapes .
