Trinidad and Tobago is playing Jamaica in the regional one day tournament. The west indies team selectors say they will be watching players so they can choose the best squad to play australia. Even thought its two different forms of the game. One day as opposed to Test cricket. Hopefully our talent will give a good account of themselves.
The match is shortened to 44 overs a side because of rain. Trinidad and Tobago is batting and the score is 91 for 2 in over 22 the two Darrens batting.

You know what will happen even if Trinidad players do really well they will hardly pick players from Trinidad, w see this every time Trinidad has much more talent than alot of the other countries and they don't pick The T&T players. Thats why i believe Trinidad and Tobago should be their own team and abandon the west indies

I forgot to say we made 201 for 9 and bowled really well to restrict them to 111 for 9. We beat them by 90 runs!
i didn't see or hear the game, but de news say that we beat them by 91runs...lol.. anyways Darren Gange and his team are performing really well. They make us very proud. Cricket is not my sport, but they deserve all the best for the brilliant performance. Kudos guys. :Yea:

Didn't see the game either but thanks to trinispice having the lastest score... We won again.................. We will win alllllllllllllllllllllll

Like one body ready my post lol, I did not even know when was the game but i'm happy that they won, so tell me should T&T go separate from the west indies like i said i my post above

But admin our players have the most to gain or lose and not even they are considering it. We cant just throw away years of tradition. The west indies are the only regional side. People actually think it's an entire country. The west indies cricket team is the only thing that keeps the caribbean together we cant just rashly throw it away. Sure we're good but the other west indian teams are good too. It's not about who has a better team it's about legacy. They're enough players to choose from it isn't a team thing it's an administration thing. The WICB like to play up but they can't keep screwing up our cricket for long. After Trinidad performed so well everyone knows the caribbean still has the ability. Separating would be the most selfish thing to do. That'll just sour relations between the islands. West Indies cricket isn't bad enough yet to do something so drastic and I doubt WICB and WIPA will intentionally destroy our cricket. Rebuilding takes time and Trinidad and Tobago still has its role.

You ahve to understand Raucous we need to get our players more international experience and when the West indies board only selects just 3 or 4 thats not much, If we go separate we are opening the market and opening more opportunities for the younger cricketers. Some Traditions are ment to be broken, its the only way for our Cricketer to get the more benefit.
You know how many cricketer from T&T dream to be international cricket level and when only the custom set of 3 the only pick from T&T to be part of the west indies team d you think they will ever get that chance.

I honestly think that our boys should represent T&T as a seperate team. Leave out the West Indies. Nothing against the WI. But the team is plagued by bad management and too much pulling and tuggin between the two governing bodies. There's always some strife going on and its holding down the team.
