Watchmen is a twelve-issue comic book limited series created by writer Alan Moore, artist Dave Gibbons, and colorist John Higgins. The series was published by DC Comics in single issues during 1986 and 1987, and has been subsequently reprinted in collected form. Watchmen originated from a story proposal Moore submitted to DC featuring superhero characters that the company had acquired from Charlton Comics. As Moore's proposed story would have left many of the characters unusable for future stories, managing editor Dick Giordano convinced the writer to create original characters instead.

From wikipedia.They didn't attach it to a comic book studio its warner bros paramount and legendary pictures. that doing it.The owl dude looking like batman lol. Its an alternate history movie with alternate superheroes. decent. :icon_cheesygrin: I've heard about the owl but i thought he was mainstream the dude lookin like batman lol.

You know long ago they used to have a wonder woman series, same for superman and some other, those were the days, why can't they make it back

yeah the studios had a big fuss about who had the rights for this one.. so some fighting the release its weird like everyone wanted to make this movie. I think it have the alternate versions of all the major characters in dc..
EDIT actually i'm wrong they're not strict alternates lol. they're all original

Well done.. There is alot of hype behind this movie, due to the extreme success of the graphic comics. I too, put this movie on my "To see" list. The trailer absolutely rocks.. highly anticipated!!! :icon_cheesygrin:
