This is so awesome thank god!
NORFOLK, Mass. -- A cat found frozen in the snow has made a miraculous recovery.

Annie, a 13-year-old tuxedo cat, disappeared during snowstorm in early December on the day her family was moving.

Five weeks later there was still no sign of the cat and her family feared the worst.

They put up missing pet fliers and contacted Animal Control for help.

And this past weekend, their prayers were answered.

A report came into animal control about a cat rescued from a snow bank.

"Basically, when I picked her up, she had no signs of life. She was stiff, she was unconscious, cold to the touch and not responding to anything," said Hilary Cohen, a Norfolk Animal Control officer.

It had a good heart rate, but was in a comatose state, she said.

The 3.5 pound feline was dehydrated, undernourished and suffering from frostbite.

But after a few hours of heat, an intravenous line for fluids, blood tests, blood sugar monitoring and steroids administered by the staff at Acorn Animal Hospital, the frosty feline emerged from the coma.

PARENTS ARRESTED FOR HOME TATTOOING CHILDREN
Chattooga County, GA -- A mother and father in Georgia have been charged with child cruelty after authorities say they discovered six of the seven children in their custody were tattooed with a home-made device.

Sheriff John Everett says the children, a 10-year-old, two 11-year-olds, a 12-year-old, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old were tattooed with a black cross on their hand.

Out of the seven children, only the youngest child did not get a tattoo.

Patty Jo Marsh and her husband, Jacob Bartels, did the tattoos in their Summerville home.

They cleaned up a tattoo machine someone gave them, and used guitar strings as a needle.

Georgia law prohibits tattoos from anyone other than a licensed professional.

Children under 18 are also prohibited from getting tattoos.

The sheriff says the couple is free on bond and are expected in court to answer the charges.

A court date has not been scheduled yet.
