Ria Ramnarine vs Ana Fernandez boxing match was really good but the last decision the officials cheated on behalf of Ria Ramarine, Everyone who was watching the match, those who don't even know about boxing know that Ana Fernandez scored more punches and hits and scored more points than Ria Ramnarine. When i was watching this match i know that Ana Fernandez would have won, but i heard that ria won which i know they cheated, this was so bias i can't believe this even most of the crowd in the stand (mainly being Trini's) booed at the decision.
I'm very disappointed at this shame on those officials
 
Thats very disturbing to hear alot of times these things are unfair i could just imgine how ana must be feeling the Trinidad boxing association should feel shame on this, i'm sure money money most has been passed to ensure Ria won.
This is a very sad and a big shame down for T&T
 
Holy moley. I thought she won because she was good! This is not good for our sport. Not good for Ria either. How do we expect to have good sports people if we dont allow them to progress because of their own hard work. I dont want us to be a set of frauds.
 
My brother was there and he told me they cheated to the last bit. Ana should have won and because she didn't he walked out vex quarelling whole night lol. Don worry you know what happens to cheaters they never prosper
 
Actually we can't blame Ria Ramnarine she did not make the finial decision remember she is a boxer she did not cheat its the judges and the officials their cheated not the boxers
 
i'm ashame of the officals. this will not go down gd when we box in their home venue, i wanted not to be a trini at that moment, money did pass and everyone saw that, Ria face showed disapointment i saw tha in her face wen d result was read.
 
People will lost respect for boxing in T&T and so will the world we will be known as cheaters and it true and we deserved to be called that. Ria clearly lost why is it they have to bend the decision
 
lets move on to how to send a message to the judges and tell them we saw d fight to not them alone, some one type a disappointment letter and send it on behalf our forum we have a voice now!!!
 
... it is clearly retarded refereeing that caused all this. I just watched it again the last round already started and Ria didn't respond yet.. was that a round or not. But thats not the point why they claiming fouls so.. if you get beat down from a short person in a boxing match you can call foul for alot of things. Who says its justified. When you're beaten on by an aggressive opponent of course you'll take injuries. Boxing is that kinda sport.
Most people dont see this match as close as the judges decision suggest. That point deductions were enough to cause Ria to win is hard to prove on tape. The extended deliberation in the end doesn't help us either.
Her coach made it worse by making the fans sound like ignorant fools for disagreeing with the decision. Apparently fan opinion in a spectator driven sport like boxing isn't a factor for him. It would suck if all our sport was won on technicalities instead of skill, strength.. or whatever those athletic qualities are.. They dont seem to matter with technicalities.
 
THE World Boxing Association (WBA) have ordered a rematch between Trinidad & Tobago's Ria Ramnarine and Venezuelan Ana Fernandez. after reviewing the fight, the Trinidad & Tobago Boxing Board of Control (T&TBBC) ruled the result as "controversial or irregular" and recommended that the world bodies order a rematch. There should be a neutral referee, a neutral judge. In light of what transpired after the fight, so ah believe in september we may c d real fight
 
Am was the first match not fair? , but i'm glad this happened they could lunch an investigation on the match officials for baisness
 
well guys we well not have a rematch soon coz Miss Ria shoulder is not fit so said her doctor and Ria said she is listening to her doctor
 
After that beating would you really thing she would like to got through again lol, Licks like peas for the next match see how ana vex dey is pressure for Ria
 
well its not Ria but another twist in boxing between america an trinidad in kick boxing, boy trinidad get some gd licks from them americans dey could real kick it was great to see those matches
 
ah hear miss Ria fighting on d 26th dec 2009!!! we will find out more at a later date
