I was wondering if anyone was going to bring this up on the forum, but yea and you know the regional cooperation never authorized any cutting down of the tree they don't even know why it was done, see how the country does be now.

I heard there was a one man protest for this tree....Where were the rest of the community? By looking at the pics, it looks like the tree got a trim and its not dead... They jus cut off the old branches.... I don't know!!!!

no those branches werent dead ....

an now they will have to cut the other side of the tree to balance it back out , or the tree will fall .....

yep going back to 200years was in the 1800 and alot of things happened there especially where the tree was located...as a history student this tree is an important landmark in society and it should of been respected..why did they do this and you will tell me in a place like that someone have to see someone cutting it down
