So Its Election Time both parties are using political ads on nearly every page you visit in the newspapers. Manning was talking about how the newspapers is against the PNM because they were publishing stories for the UNC/COP many days in a row so after that now on the papers they publishing politically motivated advertisements about Cepep, PNM Security, Pension etc so we all know that its a competition between the two but you telling me he using our tax payers money to have these ads up also on the television as well. So how come its near to election and these new things coming out and after lord FORBID if they win these things will just die down. He really know how to use people yes...

If manning using tax payers money with the PNM logo on the ad yeh it illegal.
The loophole is that PNM is still in the incumbent Government, it isn't illegal to publish Government ads in the paper. It's smart.

Even though they are the governement, I will like to think that there is a certain amount of money awarded of each registerd party for election...(But then again its our tax payers money that kinda runs this contry) Some get from the private sector too...

PNM gets alot of funds from private businesses so not everything they do are financed from "tax payers money"..same as if the UNC becomes government they will get funds from private businesses who have always supported them so not everything the new government (UNC) do will be financed by "tax payers money"..

I like that even though the pnm is like one step behind uncop, they're using their (uncop's) things against them. the "do so" now the " a vote for unc is a vote for uncertainty" with Kamla and Jack lol it looking like a unc ad!
