Waw this is really wonderful news also there was a man called the godfather of beetham a drug lord that was killed in sea lots as well ..They said it was going to cause war because of his death but personally one less criminal helps me sleep at night
 
Digicel donates 15 wheelchairs to members of the differently abled community in Tobago on Friday...the donation was a joint effort of the Minister in the Ministry of Finance Dr Delmon Baker and the Digicel Foundation in Tobago...the wheelchairs are valued at $500,000. Baker said the donation was made possible through Irish-based mobile provider Digicel.
Country manager for Digicel Hazel Douglas said it was an honour to give back to residents of Tobago....the ceremony took place at the Golden Lane Community Centre, Moriah Tobago..also the Tobago House of Assembly has committed $1 million towards the construction of a new facility for the Happy Haven School and for the School for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired!!!

NIS Retirement Pension has been increased from $2000 to $3000 per month....ah release from d Ministry of Finance has indicated dat dis increase took effect as of February 2012....announced by Finance Minister Winston Dookeran in the 2011/2012 Budget presentation....NIS monies for d months of February 2012 and March 2012 will b paid in March 08th an 15th of each month!!!

An off-duty police officer was the hero this morning after shooting a bandit who fled a maxi taxi after nabbing the driver's fares, $6000 from a passenger and a gold chain.
The bandit, identified as a 20-year-old male from Beetham Gardens, later died at hospital.

RBC Royal Bank is continuing to invest in building a sustainable national community with a recent donation of $75,000 to Vitas House a hospice which provides free palliative care for terminally-ill cancer patients....Zippy’s Friends also received $150,000 in support of its programme to train primary school teachers to recognise and effectively teach and manage children with mental health issues.....
The programme has been implemented locally by the non-profit School Leadership Centre of T&T and so far 26 teachers and six principals already have been trained....They work with 523 children between the ages five to seven years old in 13 schools across the country....
The bank, in a statement, said its contribution to Vitas House was in support of the Flamingo Room as part of the hospice’s “Adopt-A-Room” facility.....Located in St James, Vitas House offers free medical and nursing care to terminally-ill cancer patients....which helps to improve a patient’s quality of life during the advanced stages of the illness.....
