Be safe everyone and have a safe, blessed Divali.

C News Live
We have received reports of flooding in parts of Central and South Trinidad due to heavy rains. Here are some photos sent to us earlier today by a resident from San Francique, Penal. A statement issued by the Met Office says there is an active tropical wave located east of the country. Although thunderstorm activity associated with the tropical wave has diminished considerably, it is expected to regenerate to some extent during the course of the day. What the hell, every year its getting worst!. I really feel for the residence in those areas especially those who did extensive pre cleaning in preparations for Divali. This is really bad.

Yes, it is. I really feel for these people. The government really has to do something about our country's drainage system and people need to do their part as well, no littering and dumping of garbage, old tyres, etc in our nation's rivers.

people need to do their part as well, .

I AGREE! Yes it is the government's fault ..But clean up starts at the individual phase first, then community , national , regional , international >> you all get the flow. We need to take pride in our community and environment. It has companies that recycle old tyres, batteries, fridges etc and you get money for them. How hard is it to put garbage for the truck

LadyDeath, its not how hard it is to do inno, trini mentality again, is how much work they have to do! remember here everybody want nice thing for the least amount of work and toiling! the government spoilt this country, the people getting things to easy these days with the PP government, im not saying that we get everything we need, but we still get the "nice" things that everybody want, one thing i must aplaud though is the response time of al the emergency services! they have been responding quicker in times of emergency, the Flood response team atleast (i have no idea what you call them)
