Whats going on with the Dna Technology, i taught we were to have it already, You know if this technology was implemented the police would not have so much of a hard time searching for the criminals. Again take care of our country first then study about buildings and mansions. I fed up hear poor people get in between of crime and their no leads on any of the cases so far.

I guess we need special majority to pass high grade bills like that unless the guys in parliment play well together we'll never get any good laws passed.
The next thing is implementing and inforcing it.

look like i talk to soon the laws passed since 2000 http://www.niherst.gov.tt/publications/ ... mn-you.htm
but it really is the implementation that is lacking.
Trinidad is supposed to be the more technologically advanced of all caribbean countries but we still way behind the developed nations.

Its yet another example of the foolishness that taking place on all levels in authority....Things to benefit "us" the people are used as a political football to gain leverage over the othe party to get what they want..Funny thing is; the only time that Government and Opposition agree unanimously is when there is a motion to raise the salaries of parlimentarians. The Opposition is silent and passive. De only time that senator Wade Mark is quiet. Now folks I don't talk politics so eh, but its overbearing at this point. I slammin dem this rounds..doh say I didn't warn alyuh eh? So all de die-hard UNCs, COPs or PNMs...watch out nobody aint gettin spared. I calln like ah see it this rongs...dammit! :Throw:

I'm thinkin like Wispa unanimous decisions only come for raises. You only get weeks of circular debates for anything else. Of course i do have my free education so i not complainin at least they both gave us that.
I wonder though if this forensics will ever catch on in trinidad.. our culture is stuck in low tech mode. so scary.

I guess for them to actually have such technology, they will have to invest on training which is ah next set of money.....

Its so true that the only thing that the government can pass quickly in parliament is their salary!!!!!

Thats good to hear....... But isn't paternity test determines who is the child biological parent by blood... So why can't it be use in crime .... Such as rape....

Where all the money is spent on other things, things make no sence they could have trained some personnel in this field to build a database of the dna they get from crime scenes but its like we want crime to prevail in T&T.

yeh like CSI..... I guess they maybe think it not that important in crime in trinidad....

When compared to the rate of murders, rapes and kidnapping for such a small population in a country we should implements these measures. Be the time 2012 you know 2% of the population would be dead
