Digicel IMAX is now open in Trinidad and Tobago

Digicel has opened its doors to its IMAX® Theater as of today.
The cost of of IMAX is being subsidize by Digicel and other sponsors so the prices of the tickets which they claim would be affordable to all Trinidadians.

Giant Screen Entertainment today announced that they will be launching the first IMAX® Theatre in the Caribbean and will open this summer at One Woodbrook Place in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Ingrid Jahra, co- founder and CEO of Giant Screen Entertainment Limited, said "IMAX will change the way Trinidadians experience movies. IMAX brings sharp, enhanced images combined with the world's best sound system. Many of the films are in IMAX® 3D which will be the most immersive in Trinidad on the largest screen in the country, 40 by 70 feet".

BUT I HEAR ITS 65 OR 60 DOLLARS A MOVIE... :/ I rather pay my little $10 dollars yes where has that goneee ! :S

65 dollar for 2d movies and 85 dollars for 3d movies i think and thats the prices for the opening, after sometime the real prices will come out hmmm.

i dont like that at all. alot of people like me just wanna see movies on big screen not all that extra baggage we going for. Just some friendly company and a nice movie paying a nice price
