Can anyone learn to sing?

Easy question.. is singing for everyone or is it that some people are just born with it? Can anyone be thought to sing or learn to sing well or is the world divided into singers or non singers? Your thoughts please..

I think most people can sing, in the same way that most people can speak and most people can hear lol. Just some people dont sing instinctively and have to be taught.. lol. but anyone once taught right and once the actually enjoy it can sing at and acceptable standard.

Some people are also gifted too with that unique voice... But it will still boils down to proper training just to get to the right pitch....

But everyone does have a unique voice.. if all singers had the same unique voice then music would suck.. not everyone is a beyonce or mariah or micheal jackson.. and not everyone has to be.. Can you imagine mariah singing death metal? lol Yeah she would suck..
Anyone can sing but noone can sing all genres of music. Some people just get it right the first time, others may need to learn technique but the skill is basically the same. It's like any other skill ( like riding a bike or learning to read) where practice or interest in it makes it better.
People have different voices suited to different musical styles but singing in general can be for anyone who wants to.
Can Movado sing pop or country or rock? hell no lol but he can sing lol i mean people pay for it!
