A 13-year-old girl who is four months pregnant, reported to police on Wednesday that she had been raped three times by a 26-year-old man.

The unemployed Longdenville man is now being sought by police.

The girl claimed she had been the victim of sexual assault since the age of ten, but it was during the last Easter vacation that she visited relatives and was assaulted again by the man.

In an unrelated incident, a security officer guarding the Gasparillo branch of KFC, was beaten, shot and robbed in an attack shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

The thieves, investigators believe, were not interested in robbing the restaurant. Instead, they feel it was a deliberate plan to steal security guard Kelvin Atwell's loaded gun-a Browning pistol with six rounds of ammunition.

Atwell was shot on the left hand and shin and was treated at hospital and discharged.

A 13-year-old Santa Flora girl on her way to school on the first day of the new school term on Monday was gang-raped by three men...The teenager told police that they accosted her after she boarded a taxi at Siparia.
A police report stated that around 7.45 a.m. the schoolgirl got into a black vehicle with three men at High Street, Siparia.
She told police that upon reaching the traffic light intersection at Erin Road, Santa Flora, the passenger seated next to her in the back seat began touching her legs under her uniform.
The schoolgirl said she resisted the man's advances, but he placed a bandana over her face.
She told police she was taken to an area not known to her where the three men had sex with her against her will.
Investigations are continuing.
