Along a busy roadway yesterday, a doubles vendor was robbed by two men with guns.
The gunmen chased away a customer before placing the gun to the vendor's head and demanding money.
"The men came up and opened the gates leading to the doubles stall. He then pull out a gun and say he came for money," the vendor, who asked not to be named, said.
The stall is located at New Grant Junction, Princes Town, surrounded by several businesses.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. The vendor was robbed of $1,000.
"This is not the first time this happened to us here. We were robbed about twice before," the vendor said.
The gunmen ran through the buildings and escaped.
Officers based at the Princes Town and Tableland stations searched the area, but no one was arrested.
