Why did God create us

People don't get me wrong i believe in god but i want us to think about and discuss this, please not one line answer give a detailed answer.

Why did god create us, its not like he has anything to benefit from us or to get from us, so why, is he a god that likes to get worshiped.

Why not? I happen to think hat existence is a good thing, God, being the benevolent being he is wanted to share the experience of being alive with someone.

buh den if per chance he/she created us in his/her image rite......and we d human race doin so much crap......wat does dat say about god.......and basically d question could be asked ......wat is the purpose of the human race.......looking at the actions of man......were we created only to destroy........and since created by god......why was free will given to man only.......could we, the human race be one big experiment to the gods........to provide entertainment.....a contest between god and his failure,"the devil".......just a bunch of questions within questions.....

In the muslim religion it was said that we was put on earth as a test to see if we can be influenced by the devil or something so. I also hear life is a game or contest to see who are really the faithful people to god ...please someone any one do you have answers?

I feel those questions cannot be answered.........might even make you ask more than answer any.....usually d answer ppl give is "everyone and everything has a purpose".......and then why should we fear god rather than honour, respect and thank him/her........I'm Hindu(well trying to be)....lol......wat do u tink is your purpose Rina and if anyone else could answer this plz do.......I was told dat I am suppose to spread the word of god......lol...........unbelieveable to me......I tink we were created to live........how and which way we do it is our choice....free will was given to us to maintain balance.........everyting on this shitpile earth has a good and bad......light and dark........day and nite....black and white.....we choose......d way tings lookin we were created to destroy which in itself is like recreation.......jus like how we say,"life is a cycle".....so then man is probally the catalyst for destructiuon in which there is creation......free will is d key........my 1 cent dey.......

to b born a hindu is a privilage and an honour but we need to b educated on our religion, maybe i was created to worship our lord god and take care of d earth, have 2 beautiful kids, have a dog (tenchu) , beautify d earth, love others unconditionaly, kick some butt now an then and live till ah get old an mis-ah-reble on d eath. when we do gd in this llife (karma) our soul benifit from our gd deeds ( ah wonder if ah makin sense boy )

i do not know for everyone but i think i was put on earth to help people . i love to help people with their problems . i am a born giving advice to my friends, family and relatives and they trust me easily and take my advice. i just love doing something great for everyone and helping them just makes me happy . i am currently pursuing sociology to maybe become a social worker to help families in the family court .
