T&T Cricket team sponsership

Hey sports fans if you have been watching our T&T cricket team uniform when they are playing in the airtel 20/20 what do you see?
Do you know that Daren Gangar seek and begged for sponsorship from the Trinidad and Tobago Government and also from other local companies and he received none so he sort sponsorship internationally and so Trinidad and Tobago-born businessman managed to get India's largest poultry company to sponsor them in the Airtel Champion's League 20/20 Tournament.

The Company's name is Venky's (India) Limited, which employs 2.5 million people in the Asian sub continent, became emblazoned across the chests of the T&T senior cricketers began when T&T skipper Daren Ganga told his friend Neil Prashad about the troubles of his squad to secure sponsorship for the tournament.


SO SHAME ON THE GOVERNMENT AND THE LOCAL COMPANIES how said no to Daren Gangar, and you know the best part about it is that they are winning and when the win the 20.20 competition

You will see the sports ministers and others coming to congratulate them, they should just watching him and laugh and leave, SHAME

Thank God it's not KFC. lol. Honestly I wish I were rich enough to sponsor somebody. Every time I see someone wanting to excel at something cool I think it would be cool if I could have assisted. Local companies so small minded and uninterested in other peoples development. I happy they suffering from it now. I want the cricket team to hold out on them they really dont deserve any exposure. Wispa was right when he said our citizens are bandwagonistic. Stupid people cant think ahead or for the benefit of others. Who taught them business.. selfishness never pays.. just stupid.

But what about our Government they say they support the sports in the country and cricket is something that they should fund, Its Trinidad and Tobago they are representing so i don't understand why the government did not fund them

wen d blind cricket team wanted fifteen hundred dollars to buy a sound ball to play in d tournment d government refuse d team, shame on d sports ministry!!!

For the past three years the government gave the ministry of sports 14.4 million , where 550,000 was being spent preparing the national team for the Champions League... also the Tourism ministry gave them 100,000 for the trip to India..
So they got money but I guess it was not enough... If the reporting is true...

I still blaming cooperate TnT lol Sponsoring sports is the coolest thing they could do to reach out to people like me. Instead of buying out tv space and annoying people with endless ads sponsorship would show that you actually care about team performance. The goverment should see that they did will with the funding and know now that it isn't wasted. More reason to be generous.
