FROM THE ONLINE EXPRESS:
TWO men are now dead while another is battling for his life at the Port of Spain General Hospital, after two separate shooting incidents on Wednesday night.

The first to meet his death was Ron Etienne, of Harpe Place, East Dry River.

Some hours after Clifton Flanders and Daniel Mitchell were ambushed by a lone gunman, Flanders died on the scene.

According to police reports, the first incident occurred around 7.20 p.m.

Etienne is said to have been liming at Charford Court, Oxford Street, when he was ambushed and killed.

Some two hours later, this time in west Trinidad, 25-year-old Flanders was liming with Mitchell, 21, and some other men, when a lone gunman approached the group and opened fire at Patna Village.

Flanders, of North West Drive, Patna Village, Diego Martin, died on the scene, while Mitchell was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital, where he is listed in a critical condition.

In the second killing, police have no motive, while they believe the earlier killing was gang-related.
My church is on the same street that shooting happened!! :icon_sad:  We had service that day, but i didn't go!!!.... It was finished before this though.

Omg! Raucous you better take care of yourself man. watch around everytime you leave your house, don't lime on the block or road . people looking for a good headline on the news these days if you know what i mean

A man who was held and questioned with the shooting got shot down himself yesterday. They say they we once from the same gang but had a falling out and the motive was revenge. It dont look like it going to end anytime soon.

Dam, that really scary. I remeber last year I decided to visit my grandmother in Belmont, and on a very nice Sunday afternoon, two rival gang members saw each other and started shooting it out right in my granny's yard. Have you ever heard gun-shot right out you window? It very loud and frightenin. My aunt who lived downstairs called the police and they were up there in 10mins. The shooting only lasted about 2 minutes. That was the longest two minutes of my life.
