It was disgraceful the way patrons reacted to the performance of Sugar Aloes (Michael Osouna) in the Calypso Fiesta at Skinner Park, San Fernando on Saturday.

Now what does that say? It says clearly that people are bringing their political biases into the entertainment arena. It also says that some people are so tunnel-visioned that they will not allow others to seek a livelihood of their choice.

We have heard of patrons pelting toilet paper at performers in the past but pelting food is highly disgraceful and unwarranted.

The fact that roti was thrown at Mr Osouna and placards were displayed with claims as "Sugar Aloes is Wuk Ah Wukking Fuh Curry Dollars$" says a lot.

Isn't roti still one of the most sought after delicacies in Trinidad and Tobago? What hypocrisy!

It was most admirable though, the way Mr Osouna reacted to the crowd with, "I still love allyuh".
