Mr Orville London, the Chief Secretary of the THA has been in news for the fact that his wife has allegedly acquired the land that was meant for the landless citizens. Moreover it was also reported that some other properties in Signal Hill have also been acquired by them. This puts a black spot on his reputation and damages it to a great extent.

Moreover, his sister in law is also involve in the purchase of property on the Fort which is questionable as she was a mere worker in a bank. And buying such a big and costly property is by her is hard to digest

Orville London said yesterday his new term in office will be his last.....London, 68 yrs would be marking a 4th term and would have governed the island for 16 straight years by the end of it.....London said he was aware there would be criticisms and concerns....but said the situation also presented an opportunity for discussion and for everyone to work harder to deliver better results.....
