A Penal Mother Killed Her Two Children Under 10 yrs old by hanging them with her hammock rope and then killed herself. Its really sad to know when you having a good time in your world, someone else's world is crashing down. I hope that bastard woman pay really damn good

I don't think its about if people knew she as mad all the time? I think its about if people didn't know she was going through some things? I mean you can never really know what hurt or problems people are facing every day. It sad that she thought that ending the life of her children and her own was the only way.. really sad to hear.

Maybe she had problems with her husband and she couldn't take it any more...so she decided 2 kills both her children because she didn't want 2 leave them with him.

but if u hear what d shityist part what i read in d paperes is dat d bitch kill she self and d children cuz how she husband is a drinker and he eh like dat. dey used to argue bout it plenty, after d arguement wen he was sleeping she went and take d rope from d hammock and hang d 2 children and she self

No matter what cause her to do such asn evil act, I still can't come to terms to how she could watch her two kids especially the BABY and hang them.... What mental person can do that... How mental can u be to cut down the rope of the hammock, tie it ot the ceiling, took a child(maybe awake of sleepy) and hang them up!!!!! To hang urself is one thing but to hang others too?

Despite her problems, someone has to be mentally unstable to murder their via hanging. Hanging is not instant death or a quiet death. It is suffering. She obviously wasn't doing well and her social and family issues pushed her over the edge. It is tragic her children had to suffer the same fate, but things like this will always happen because depression isn't considered a "real illness" in Trinidad.

While you all may have valid points i must disagree with what some are saying. That in order for someone to do some thing like this, they have to be mentally unstable. One does not have to be "mad" to commit murder or suicide.. One can be very sane and lucid and still perfrom those cruel acts. We have to be careful of not letting our emotions get the better of us in these instances. Sure i can relate to what others feel on the matter. i too am very upset about it. but we have to take a step back and really see it for what it is. there's so much issues present here that we're not facing. E.g. this can go to show and remind us that getting to this point is not instant. There were propably many many instance and situations that led to this. Yes the media reported that they argued over his drinking.. but that may not be all the factors that lead to this. From the article, we learn that they argued over this alot for a period of time. Plus the woman kept all her problems to herself. Her misery consumed her.
We can all learn from this.. Its never a good idea to keep the pressures of the world bottled up inside. it can literally kill us. Directll or indirectly. If she had someone to talk to..some one to really see that she needed help, prob it would not have reach to this. Plus why didn't the husband make and effort to stop drinking. if your wife despised that your drink and come home drunk, make an effort to stop. She slaved to make doubles that he sells during the day..plus take care of his two children in the day while he's out. Rearing og children is a daunting task. Believe me. So it's not just the drinking. the drinking may be the straw that broke the camel's back. NOW, he's all sorry and whatever... didn't he feel sorry for her before.. What kind of example he was setting for his children etc... Probably she was studying all that...
Also TFM touched on a valid point.."Depression". But where i disagree is that "depression" is in fact seen and treated as an illness in Trinidad. My wife is studying Social Welfare.. and trust me.. it is taken very seriously. But it all falls on the individual to seek it out. Or at least people close enough to the individual to give them that push. Did you know that you can recommed and person to the Social welfare and they will dispatch a social worker to assess the situation? There are countless advertisements that advertise hotlines that people can call to deal witht their problems..

Now think about how many people in the country are having the same or similar issues..Do you think they should kill their kids or themselves ?
