Mom, kids hide from bandits

When bandits broke into her home yesterday, 31-year-old Wendy Ramlogan locked herself in a bedroom with her three young children.

The intruders tried to break down the bedroom door, but when that failed, they ransacked the house and made off with a laptop, digital camera and a gold watch.

The incident occurred around 7 a.m. while the housewife was preparing breakfast for her family at her Ste Madeleine home.

Ramlogan told police that she saw three men walking through the front gates. The woman grabbed on to her three children, ran into a bedroom and locked the door behind them, police said.

Neighbours, who were alerted by loud noises, contacted the police. A 24-year-old Gasparillo man was arrested fleeing from the scene

her name sounds familiar, but wow she's lucky she got a strong door!!! and that her and her family is safe!

Imagine you have to hide in you own house from criminals, working so hard these days to make a living and some set of un godly people, evil doers coming and taking away everything you have. Good thing they did not get her, things could have been worst, she could have been killed or sexually assaulted

yep, and then having her children to witness that too!! that would've been tough, i think more people should start getting new stronger doors and window too or atleast more locks, but i dont know what i would've done if i saw 3 men walking thru my gate

I feeling happy they survived but it still so gay that these men could just walk around just so breaking into our houses just so. Thing like that does make me sick.. I wonder how long it take.. if she had a cellphone maybe all they woulda get catch.. i dunno nah. I just happy they survive.

Them criminals getting braver each day.....7 AM in the morning.... Its good that the woman think fast and grab her kids.... And as well AS THE police for responding fast...
