Love or Obsession?

They what do you think are the barriers of love and obsession? How do you know if u are obsessed with someone or you really love them? Is love linked with obsession?


I think love and obsession are two different things...you feel love from the heart and you go krazy about the person but what is obsession?

Karina my dear.love and obsession are linked in ways..you can love someone to death until you get sick ova them.

Crazyness is obsession.. not that you cant enjoy the relationship or be close and intimate emotionally.. but some people objectise and idolise their partner. When all you could be is and aspect of their being is obsession. When all of you time and actions relate and depend on this person like if they're God or something its obsession. When you have no purpose in life unless they're part of it is obsession. I think they're completely different.. love is based on principle so it's unconditional independent of emotion. Obession demands emotional fullfillment to feel whole or real. You can love someone and never be happy but it wont take over your life.. you will be able to cope or move on. Obession never allows for any kind of progress or healing... it pathological.. not allowing for independence outside of it. Love allows for a hell of alot of personal freedom. Love reinforces positivity and growth.

obsession is when you start to take things alot further, you start to stork the person, always looking to see who the person is talking to, dig into the person's personal life, a freak actually

Yeah obession can lead to stalking. Men are more likely to engage in stalking than women. What it doesn't mean is that men are more obsessive it just mean they're more likely be active in it. Women would obsess more subtly. But it ALWAYS shows in your actions.. easy to check yourself.

2 me love comez naturally...u love sum1 2 da point where u can trust them...obsession iz where u hav 2 kno everything bout dat 1 person or thing...when u love sum1 u dont necessarily need 2 kno everything bout dat person...u should trust da ppl u love...obsession, 2 me, iz where u obviously dont trust dat person, u dont wanna share dat person wit nebody...u wanna show everybody when u love sum1...u want 2 share dat speical sum1 wit otha ppl u love...u dont wanna keep them hidden away or nething lik dat...

yeah and also sometimes you end up hating the person in the end but u cannot help but to push yourself in someone's life..gosh i hate that
