Jamaica hijacker captured after standoff

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police say a gunman who hijacked a plane in Jamaica has been captured after an eight-hour standoff with police.

Police spokeswoman Camille Tracey says authorities disarmed the young man, whom authorities described as "mentally challenged.".....

Its on new york times.. i dinno the caribbean had people like that. thats messed up. I wonder what he wanted to do..

you know what, yesterday in my school some girl fought her best friend and sliced her face and throat with a knife, the thing is we have 3 metal detectors you got 2 pass thru in the morning and plus the security guards are supposed to search ur bags, that just shows how careless they are!!!

Her best friend? Not anymore... I dont think metal detectors and wands will catch everything cuz they wont detect ceramic knives and guns.. the guns may be hard to get but ceramic knives are fairly easy to get.
Security at my school doesn't search anything lol.

yea well obviously it was over some boy, it was nasty im suprised the girl didnt die cuz her throat lining and stuff was hanging out, eww, but she's lucky 2 b alive tho, the sad part is the same 2 girls tried 2 jump another girl ovr the same boy but administration broke it up an den d both of them ended fightin eachother yesterday!! blood was allover d place, d walls, floors, lockers.

I heard that the guy who hijack the plane was only 20 years old.... He watch too much TV....
