Hey Apart From All The Rest Of Areas In Trinidad, Nothern Areas Such As Beetham, Laventille and Belmont Are Really Prone to violence and severe crimes taking place..Children are not safe anymore as i read 2 incidents on the news where a 17yr old and a 15yr old was shot watching their favourite sport a basketball game and also driving with their families. Others such as an old woman was shot because a stray bullet hit her board house and launched directly at her killing her , another was killed for looking out her window. We know how these areas are! But its getting worse!
What are police and government doing about this? I know they have alot of cameras why dont they put it up and install them on junctions atleast?
Why don't they go undercover and try to learn the tricks and trades of these people and where their liming weed spots does be ?
In this country , we are at a developing stage and we have to curb crime in order to reach there ..we have a White foreign man as our head Police commissioner so ent he know things about patch wiring and lastest crime fighting technology?
I sure that government could allocated resources from else where EG. THE FRIGGING JET THEY GUNNA HAVE !!! AND PUT IT WHERE NEEDED EG. FRICKING CRIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I taught the Government said they have the plan to solve crime, but still crime is on the increase. For me The politicians are the biggest lairs and criminals in this country, big waste of time.

some of their motives are really good but i'm telling you once money in their hands they start to get corrupt

According to the Express

TWO murders occurred about an hour apart on Sunday night in the east Port of Spain and Laventille areas, leaving two families in anguish and bringing the year's murder toll to three, according to an Express tally.

The first incident occurred at 8.15 p.m. when residents of the George Street and Duncan Street, Port of Spain "Plannings" heard several gunshots.

When they came out to investigate they found the body of Hassan Combie, 23, lying face down in a grassy common area between both sets of apartments.

I thought Jack say serious crimes decrease .... come on jack you need to put cctv cameras in every hot spot in these areas..atleast it might bring many to justice
