Impreza Hatchback 2008

Hey guys..my girl cousin has decided that she wants to buy a foreign used Impreza Hatchback 2008 model as her first car and has asked me to accompany her when she goes to check one out. It's on the market for around 80-100 k ..Just wanted to find out what are somethings we should look out for and some common problems that they have..Is this vehicle expensive to maintain? One thing i know for sure is that the parts are pretty expensive .. Help?

I was quite shocked when i saw on the papers that the price has dropped ..Some are going for 80-84k .. Just keep in mind that as its her first car parts are expensive for a Subaru and also not cheap to maintain. Just pay more attention to the condition and upkeep of the engine

Thanks Ladydeath..she bought hers for 82K and loving it. The only thing she wanted was stereo controls on the steering wheel but i guess she needs to save and get that installed.

Sky22 what's the experience with the car so far?

I'm thinking about purchasing one because the price has dropped really low, however, i am also worried about parts and mantainence. Anyone have experience with them?

Its really a very lovely model and nice reviews about this car and i saw its picture but in our are its not present but i would like to buy it.
