Hindu Credit Union (HDC) held what suppose to be a friendly meeting turned into a quarrel. Today Crime watch allowed the HCU CEO Harry Harnarine and his supporters to commerce with each other on the win tv grounds. It passed talking and turned into a angry mob and the people that came along with Harry Harnarine acted like drunk people and with no behavior at all.
For the people who came along with him said that they are not frighten about getting back their money and they will wait to get it. But Ian Alleyne brought the poor helpless lower class people who don't even know if they will be getting back their money to stand up for themselves and be honest about the position going on in the courts.

Tell me something members of trinispice.net if you working day and night and at the end of the month or fourth night you want your money for emergency cases or family problems or just leisure and someone withholding that from you, wouldn't you be pissed and angry?
So answer this one how the people who supported HCU CEO Harry Harnarine and said they will wait for their money are the people who have high statuses, have alot of shares in the company and those of family? Because knowing that you have money in a failed credit Union and you don't know when you will get it, will make you so scared that you will want to take your money and invest in it somewhere else.

It had some old people in wheel chairs at the Win Tv location and they were booed at by the HCU CEO Harry Harnarine supporters and was called liars and all sort of bad names. Do you really think these people deserve to be begging for their money and to be given bounce checks. Come on HCU AND the people who were backing them up you know the truth and are failing to care for the people who need THEIR money

It's really sad what happened to this credit union. People had their entire life-saving invested in the company. i can fully understand why people are so agitated. Not condoning any non-productive actions etc. But i can understand their plight and the reason for their gross mis-conduct.

This is truly very sad. I can't begin to imagine what these people must be going through knowing that they might never recover what they have worked so hard to earn. I hope it gets resolved soon and for the benefit for the former members of the union.

How bad management had to be to actually lose money. You could lose company money but how hard do you have to try to lose clients money.. Even if no investments pan out shouldn't you still have the client's money.. How do these things work. If they make money by relending then that mean some people just take money and probably getting away with it.

The people who were getting on were not protesting for their money they were in support of HCU CEO Harry Harnarine and they we cussing and calling people liars when Ian Alleyne brought the poor helpless lower class people who don't even know if they will be getting back their money to stand up for themselves and be honest about the position going on in the courts.

Watch crime watch 6 o clock today 39 win tv

I read with interest the plight of certain members of the HIndu Credit Union. If the company is in danger of going into administration, I take it there are laws in Trinidad that protect investors in this situation.
It is always the poorer people who are most vulnerable in these situations. I remember the quite well when Northern Rock, a building society in England was in trouble, people rushed to withdraw their money. The surge in withdrawals helped to seal the fate of the finanacial organisation.

What I haven't read is what the government is doing to alleviate the plight of these people.

I remember watchin win tv and a old lady was saying she is sick with her heart and have no money to do the operation and also have to take out some money for her children..How is this woman going to survive HCU?
