Well i dunno where to put this topic but if yall hav any health issues news and complaints plz post this In Here..Well I Have A Story To Tell You About Mt. Hope Hospital

Well Last Two Weeks An 18 Year Old Woman Delivered A Baby Boy In The Mt. Hope Women's Hospital When The Delivery Was Over She Got Off The Bed And Went To Clean Up Herself..When She Came Back And She Laydown Anxious To See Her Baby She Felt Something Hard By The Feet On The Bed Like A Package...She Sat Up And Looked Down There she saw something wrapped up when she opened up there was her DEAD Baby Boy..She lost her mind..she went krazy she started to play with her dead baby and thing...The Nurse Then Come Back And Saw Her..YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID?? SHE SAID " OOPPS I FORGOT YOUR DEAD BABY??" :icon_cry2:

seriously what the f*** i mean her baby died during birth and nobody told her anything..thats the mother of the child and u cudn't tell she anything?? She lost her mind seeing her dead baby and started to play with the baby..wah else u wah she do?? Right now she's in a mental state and the greatest part of all is when the nurse said oops i forgot ur dead baby... :icon_evil:

But hear the greatest part of all the next day the family wanted the baby to burry him and have a funeral service but the hospital won't let the baby go they want to do an autopsy on the baby..for christ sake the baby done dead and the hospital have done enough to make this horrifying jus let the baby go cuz the people are muslims and according to their religion a body must not stay open they have to be burried as soon as possible

Uhg... thats unsettling. I feel ill. Cant say anything... its just sick. I hope all the employees and doctors involved in this come to face the consequences of their negligence.
Its so wrong... part of you knows that things like this should never happen.

wtf...how can someone be so inhumane.... a human life was taken and all she could say was "OOPS" show some compassion damn it it's a life , you don't tell a woman who just gave birth and didn't know that her baby died "oops i forgot your dead baby" no that's just wrong and sick i'm disgusted by that.ir's bad enough the way she found out now you won't release the baby's body gawd give them a break...this should have never happened ever...something needs to be done these doctors and nurse's don't want to take the blame for there mistakes, my aunt died last year she went in for a cataract surgery and never came out when asked what went wrong; and how could this possibly happen he gave my aunt's kid's and siblings the run around, when they finally decided to take legal action he begged my aunt's mother not to go through with it because it would ruin his reputation.. then he told them that someone on his staff screwed up before the surgery...my aunt's dead and all he cared about was his stinking reputation...what are you ppl freaking robots don't you have any feelings towards a human life..

The health care system in T&T is so bad and still they are saying we have one of the best in the world who is the government fooling, when i was doing nursing you would not believe the kinda of thing i saw, their is inadequate bedding allowance, very moody staff, people having to wait over four hours for critical matters among many things.

When my 7yr old cuzin was sick and she went mt Hope they had here on emergency thingy what they does carry people on in the ambulance in a corridor in one of the wards and she had a slight dengue..A small little child like that and imagine when she sleepin she hearing doors opening and closing

Fuad Khan pushing for 24-hour health centres..Round-the-clock health centres are on the way, just as soon as the Health Ministry can find sufficient staff to man stations...The minister was speaking at the second meeting of the Caribbean Public Health Agency at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain...a new system would be put in place, including removing the geographical boundaries for Regional Health Authorities (RHAs), allowing for freedom of movement, and letting private doctors and specialists from all over to come in and assist in training new doctors.... The system now is in chaos, so before they bring in foreign staff, the ministry needs to assess what is available and what is needed!!!

The Cedros Health Centre currently provides services from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday...the SWRHA has implemented a system to have a nurse and an ambulance driver on call after 4.00 pm on weekdays, as well as on weekends and public holidays. Patients requiring further medical treatment will be transported from the health centre to the Area Hospital Point Fortin or the San Fernando General Hospital. This arrangement is expected to take effect from Monday February 06, 2012.
This initiative to have an on-call nurse and ambulance driver available is a result of a directive received from the Honourable Minister of Health Dr Fuad Khan, and is in keeping with his vision to strengthen the public health services throughout the country by offering extended opening hours, improved customer care and additional staffing to fill existing vacancies...plz Mr Minister hire d relevant staff..d public is depending ah gd health care system!!!

The Ministry of Health has targeted 20,000 girls, aged 11 and 12, to receive vaccinations in the first phase of its voluntary HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) vaccination programme. The girls will be targeted through the ministry’s expanded programme of immunisation and district health visitors at primary and secondary schools.....
Health Minister Fuad Khan visited the El Socorro South Government Primary School and Sacred Heart Girls’ RC School yesterday to launch the programme. He commended the students and their parents for taking responsibility for the girls’ health by getting the vaccine....He said: “If we miss the 11 to 12 age group, prior to our girls becoming sexually active, then we increase these girls’ chances of contracting cervical cancer later in their lives. “What this vaccine is doing is giving our young girls a chance to prevent cervical cancer later in their lives. The benefits of taking the HPV vaccine now more than outweigh the problems that they may face with cervical cancer later on.”
The cervical cancer rate in T&T is twice the worldwide average. A study showed that 35.4 per cent of healthy women, age 16 to 65, were HPV-DNA positive in the cervix. The highest prevalence among women is between 25 and 34.......
