Some time ago i was walking in San Fernando and was looking to trow away a bottle, and i was looking or a garbage bin and i saw not even one. I walked all around looking for a place but i did not see any, you know This is the kinda of thing that does encourage people to litter, why can't their be garbage bins in public places. You does be seeing like a pile of rubbish every Conner but no bins Come on an man

Even though they put bins in place for people to see it, they still will liter... I guess its the norm...
IN port of Spain their are recycle bins but its overflowing now...Its sad

Thats not the point resha their should be bin located in a city area or in public at least 100-200 meters apart. Whats the ema doing about this?

Guess it has to be reported first but then its a city...It should have bins....

Is their not a city borough (cooperation) Why are their doing nothing about this, The ema should really step in this matter. The city will just turn into a bump

The san fernando city corporation is responsible for keeping city of san fernando clean .... Not ema

well last week myself an ryan was pos, an from d bus (ptsc) hub ryan was lookin for a bin but none was found all along d road to d roundbout ting none an he put d bt somewhere (CAN'T say) so shame on d sanitation dept!!!

Welcome to Trinidad. But i too agree, doesn't matter that the fact of the matter is that peole are going to litter never the less, the city corporation should make it a priority to provide bins. I however on the other hand don't litter. I knoe some might doubt me, but I honestly don't. I'd rather keep rubbish in my pocket till I find a bin. I learned that from Sesame Street. I don't like to see people littering too. It careless people like that are who's to blame for the massive flooding we have in POS everytime a little rain fall. We are always very quick to blame the government when we the people have a very prominent role in the problem.

i'm quilty of not litterin, who knos me kno i'll also keep my stuff for proper disposal. anyways d co-operation provides bins and gangs to c bout dat dept so y we cant reap d benifit, ah simple URP ladies gang in school does sit till 10am gets up an den sit till 12:30am an no one talksbout it. In some school dey bins are to far apart an dont say kids should walk coz dey dont, BINS need to be all around lets keep T&T clean an green!!!

San fernando and Port of Spain is not the only places with garbage problem. San Juan Don Miguel Road is experiencing flooding problem due the pile up of garbage. The garbage consists of large items, including tyres, barrels and boxes and this creates an obstruction on Don Miguel Road — the main artery leading to the highway that contributes to flooding of the highway.
The entire highway from Courts Megastore to the Trade Zone warehouse is like an ocean which I know most of you all seen already. Guess the Corporation not doing there duties on time.

well look how much does be dumped up devnish hill an trucks does pass 3 dy a wk so we d citizen are maughty ppl, we need to report wat we see now!!! :nono:

proper drainage and also help from the citizens of this country need to cooperate to keep it clean you can't have proper bins and drainage and people still dumping garbage vice versa. That is tru ever see chaguanas have a bin. maybe 2 for the market and no where else on the main road and when rain fall like las time it was flood for so

The reason (Im jus Guessing here) why they don't have much bins in chaguanas is because there is not enough room for both predestrian and bins...The pavements they recently constructed is too narrow..
