Carnival is real nice fete like that but, please be safe because this time is the best time for them kid nappers, rapist, drug pushers are coming out. When their are huge crowd these people can get a way with anything be safe stay close to a group of people you know, try not to get too drunk,

Jourvet was good. i played in chaguanas with family in decent clothes as always..It was nice liming with the family and being bathed in paint and mud LOL

Mac Farlane’s band of fancy gold clowns, blue devils, stylised pierrot grenade, fancy sailors, dame lorraines and burrokeets paraded past the Adam Smith Square venue. There were no bikinis or beads in this band, with masqueraders parading fully-clothed, except for the devils, in intricately decorated costumes of cloth, masks and elaborate hats.

He's thinking about quitting because of all the shit he does receive in turn from the carnival committee. I think as a white man he portrays everything of our culture and when we see his mas we are able to understand and analyse where he is coming from. I love his work! never quit

Yes, he has amazing creativity. It's a shame his King/Queen costumes are hampered by the wind so much, especially during finals when it matters the most, but I applaud him for choosing to stick to this values over the "use of wheels" issue. I agree with him that the costume has more life when carried by the lone man rather than on wheels.

Carnival no excuse to misbehave
carnival is not an excuse for lawlessness and reckless behaviour.....
people to display mature, disciplined and sensible behaviour, tempering your celebrations with a true appreciation of all that is beautiful and positive....... exercise caution this Carnival and ensure the safety of children.....all adults and parents to ensure the safety of their young children who are looking to them for positive direction and good examples......the protective services are on alert and will take appropriate measures to safeguard citizens and visitors during the Carnival celebrations......
