Tecia was missing since Saturday and was found sometime today dead....Tecia was from Laventille and had ten years of age....She was sent to a nearby mini mart to puirchase some items and was never seen again...Residents say that the person responsible for the girl;s dissappearance was no stranger...

Anyway Tecia is now dead...Her throat was slit.... Authorities are pleading with parents to keep an eye on their kids..

Omg this is horrible when i saw this topic i really felt hurt she just a little girl she now start to grow up in this life and just so people just take it away, i really feel it revenge but what would lead someone to do such a vicious crime to a small child hmmm

This is truly sicken and sad at the same time, look how long the police took to come by the people house they so frighten of lavantell so what the hell they join the police force for if they can't do their jobs, in this country called Trinidad and Tobago we can not have any justice the police are not helping us and hell not the government

My deepest and most heartfelt sympathies go out to the family of Tecia. This is truly a very sad thing indeed. Words can not begin to express my disgust and how saddened i am over this tragic story. There is no value for human life in Trinidad & Tobago. I can't even begin to try to understand what could possess someone to commit this kind of atrocity to a little girl. I'm totally sick of this. can type anymore.

Her mother is a weed seller i hear cuz someone who i know lives up by her and i hear everyone knows that around the area..alot of people do not like her ways bcuz she operates like a badjohn...didn't u see the video on tv how she mourned for her child...BY FLING HER HANDS UP IN THE ARE AND SAYING...PEACCCEEE! Tecia was raped, beaten, head chopped off all kinda things ...everyone know the people that was held and evidence showed clearly it was some of them... I nearly cried watching the news..R.I.P Tecia i am sorry you had to go thru this

I believe her parents are to blame for the child's death.... The mother has outstanding drugs charges in court.... When the press interviewed the father, he looked like he high on something....Is that the way to show remorse for your child.... Well according to the villagers, no stranger will come to John John and kill the child so it have to be someone in the village....

I dont know about the victims or what the do for a living but I like how they got together to make a scene of it. They block the road and ting. The problem is all that crowd and organisation could've been put to way better use. Better use than bawling up at the police.. who I honestly belive didn't have enough information to work with in this case. Essentially it worked just like the crowd that will heckle the persons who do this... too much anger too late... and it is just as ineffectual as death marches.. glorifying death instead of alturism. If enough people in trinidad amass the courage crime will be easily dealth with. We have the people and resources to point out as much criminals as we want. Just we too happy to be individual victims of crime.. we like to feel special that we're the only one's suffering. Instead of having a closer knit community based security we prefer to stay out and away of the criminals and get picked off one by one. Criminals are sacredy cats they only do stuff they sure they get away with... and they get away because people too afraid to come forward. The problem is scale.. but if enough people come forward it will work.

Ten-year-old Tecia Henry was strangled.

But whether she was sexually assaulted still has not been determined, even though an autopsy was performed on her little body yesterday.

Sources at the Forensic Science Centre in Federation Park, St James, said further tests, including swabbing would have to be carried out to determine if her killer(s) raped her before murdering her. The advanced state of decomposition of the body was also said to be a factor behind why the determination could not made yesterday.

The results of those tests would be known on Monday, the source said.

I dunno what he talking bout.. but they way she reacted made her look worse than he did. She's the one who brought up drugs and thing and expect peoples not to be aware of what she really is or appears to be. Its almost like she gave more credence to what he was sayin by being so defensive. The prime minister shouldn't have said that at least not the way he did cuz if he knows something wouldn't the police want to, wouldn't Trinidad want to know. What the hell he gloating about knowing if he or the police wont act on it? Either he just assuming things or he showing how much he cant or wont do.

Tomorrow is the funeral of this child...I could jus imagine the crowd and the police... The police held some guys for the murder but they not releasing that information jus yet!!!

Guess what , somebody shot and killed one of the suspect who killed Tecia.... I wonder who????... And if yuh see the front page of the Guardian, the people rejoiceing over the man murder... They drinking and dancing in the street... What kind of life are these people living in?

Being a suspect doesn't make a man guilty.. i dont think the man was guilty of tecia's murder. The media of course will try to extend the connection.

yes he was a suspect but for someone to kill him means they know more to the story than the media knows...
Even the dead man mother showed no remorse when the media came to interview her...She was peeling pumpkin or something...
