Oh oh now the lady need blood to sustain her surgery. Look how old the couple was how can someone do such a thing like that and then to hear then suffering. It's really so sad eh
THE British High Commission is appealing for members of the public to come forward and donate blood for British nationals Peter and Murium Greene.
The retired British couple, who were seriously injured during a cutlass attack at their Bacolet home in Tobago last Saturday, have been receiving medical care at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mount Hope since the brutal incident.
According to a spokesperson from the Commission, however, the call for the blood comes after several members of the public called and asked how they could assist the couple.
And since Murium, 59, who is scheduled to have an operation to repair her fractured jaw was in need of blood, the Commission thought the blood drive was an ideal way for people to assist, and get some blood for the blood bank in the process.
Anyone wishing to assist can visit the blood bank at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope to make a donation.
