Yessss... Usher's Raymond vs Raymond is on top.. I listened to an early preview of the album and really liked it... i must admit that, the album name is somewhat misleading as to is actually on the album. The album name signifies and internal rift in the artiste. An internal war raging between who he has become and who he was.. unfortunately the songs on the album don't portray this struggle. Don't get me wrong. the songs are good, there's no relativity to them. No consistency in relation to any conflict that the name suggests. The one song "Papers" is only song to contain some sort of relevance to the album name. In it, Usher sings about the apparent demise of his marriage.. He seemed to draw inspiration from his public seperation from his ex-wife Tameka Foster.. Each song has to be taken by itself. i especially like Lil' Freak.. 3/5.
