I don't know if you have read or hear recently that Republic Bank Group has recorded a net profit attributable to shareholders of $525.3million for the financial half-year ended March 31, 2011.
So This banking making $525.3million in half of year and how much interest do they offer us less than 2%.
12 dollars maintenance fee every month
Low interest rates less than 2%
ATM fees
and so on.
Is it not our money they are using to buy stocks and invest in the open market so why is it that we get the "suck" hand from these banks.
If you ask why is their interest rates are so low they will tell you its because of how the economy is going but they can still rake up $525.3million in profits from just half of year.
I really find that Trini's are jokers In the USA when a food stock goes up by 25cents they have a big protest about it and boycott that product until the price drops. But in Trinidad we complaint and complaint about low Interest rates high food prices eg KFC, Bread but you know what a few days after we still go and continue to buy and take part in it.
Trini's are jokers yes.
