Well I don't live in trinidad anymore, and i know the crime is increasing, also that the government isn't very useful? I was wondering, what if the people decide to take matters in their own hands, it's dangerous yes, but maybe it can remain anonymous, maybe to get a section in the newspaper explaining how to be safe from the wrath of evil, i mean not everyone has access to trinispice, and to hold meetings in schools explaining to children the results of wrong doing, it may sound useless telling them that but I'm sure that some would definitely listen. Or how about forming smaller closer communities so that people are more adept to their environment and the people who inhabit it, so if somebody was to be a criminal it wouldn't be too hard to point them out and have something done about it. The idea here is to get more people involved to come to a realization that we can't just fight this alone but as a big group, but first we need to drown out the fear. It would be like an alternative crime stoppers. Well i know i have and idea here but I'm sure how to gain some momentum so i would love to have your input.

Yes this is an great idea, we should do this but time will tell. This needs to be planned out really well and if any set of members willing to drive this motion i will be in full support, i'm trying too see if i can get in touch with some organizations like young leaders and some other companies to join forces with them and make a change but i have to get their numbers and give them a call

Yeah I've been waiting for someone to say that for awhile. It would be s much easier to fight crime a a group. As long as the citizenry stays organised and focused we can cut down on alot of the crimes that take place.

It sounds like a great idea but do you all think there are people in T&T who actually thinks like this.... We may say yes to it but may not have the manpower to do anything... Getting real support on a strong topic like this is real hard...

I may say yes to the topic but what can I do beside talking.....

i understand this, that's why i said it's dangerous, but if somebody doesn't stand up for themselves then who will? i mean if i was there i would try to do my best, it may not be life changing but i would try. And i don't care if people are not willing to change their country, i don't have to change it because i don't have to live there but there's this urge from deep within, i really do wish i could help regardless of what i have to do. I'm just feeling this inner need to make a change atleast for the little children, because i can't stand to see my two nieces grow up like this. I know it's the children who holds enough potential to building a brighter future because we can mold their minds from now. The only problem is a strong and stable idea and the resources needed.

Well i guess thats where we should all start.... Try to guide the younger generation to a more meaningful life...
