30$ rent fee from tstt monthly

Why is it Tstt landline charges 30 dollars every month. They say its for rent we have the service for 11 plus years and then to now they continue to charge this rent fee.
Is this right to be charging this fee called rent every month?

I dunno why.. seriously.. but i guess its for people like me who put their phone one way. lol. so even if i not making any outgoing calls i still have to pay.. well my PARENTS have to pay. lol.

lol I guess the proper word in their context would be 'service fee'.Think it is charged to maintain the lines and pay for upgrades to the telephone system,but what I dislike is that if your line goes dead they move at their own paste to fix it,isn't that why we pay them their "rental" fee in the first place,to keep our lines running. :Confused:

Yup but when call it rental fee they should have just named it service fee,

Rental fee (per month) = $30
x
12 months = $12


=$360 per year

Thats the cost you pay per year it might be small but multiply that by the time in years you have the service for

They also charge for dial tone too check your bills i hope a few more Telephone companies come down and get them so competition

tstt charges 30 rent fee so charging for calls aint enuff wow? anything 4 money.
